A CESRA company for your health

The company was founded in 1978 by Christian Günther near Hamburg. His motto: We help nature to act. His goal: to develop products that … work, of course!

Based on this philosophy, we have been looking for special natural substances for your health ever since.

Our oceans form an almost inexhaustible reservoir of potential new active ingredients.

The idea began with the New Zealand green-lipped mussel and omega 3 fatty acids; today our focus is on active care with special microalgae for very sensitive problem skin. The development of the microalgae active ingredient Spiralin® and its patenting in 2014 underpins the uniqueness of our products.

We are proud of this, and it motivates us to continue exploring the extraordinary potential of our oceans and other natural sources in the future – for your health and your natural appearance.

The skinicer® SEDATIVE SHAMPOO impresses with its effectiveness and ingredients and has been awarded silver by Monde Selection.

The skinicer® REPAIR SERUM is honored with a Special Award from the GBWA in the "Acne Facial" category.

The Spirularin® nail spray receives the "Product of the Year 2021" award from the specialist magazine DISKURS Dermatologie.

to 2005: Generation change - Patrick Günther and Jörg Keimes become the new managing partners. Development and first batch production of a natural cholesterol-lowering agent based on sitosterol for a start-up company.

Acquisition of the intrusion patent for creatine from BASF AG.

Use of glucomanose, a purely natural ingredient from the Japanese Conjac plant, as an effective weight reducer and successful launch of the 1-2-3 Slim brand.

Introduction of mussel vit.
